In September 2012 I visited Belogradchik Fortress and my rating is 5/5.
Magnificent fortress... I do not know what to say. I spent the whole day and I intend to go there again next year.
Tips: Best time to visit is before noon.

At the beginning when it was a castle, there were 33 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 4 sitting rooms, a ballroom, billiard room, library, study, school room, smoking room, gun room and various offices and domestic staff residences for the butler, cook, housekeeper and other servants.
