2. Agua Azul
The Cascadas de Agua Azul (Spanish for Blue-water Falls) are found in the Mexican state of Chiapas. They are located in the Municipality of Tumbalá, 69 km from Palenque by the road that leads towards San Cristóbal de las Casas. This waterfall consists of many cataracts following one after another. The larger cataracts are as high as 6 meters (20 feet).
1. Chichen Itza
Chichen Itza (at the mouth of the well of the Itza) was a large pre-Columbian city built by the Maya civilization. The archaeological site is located in the Mexican state of Yucatan. Chichen Itza was one of the largest Maya cities and it was likely to have been one of the mythical great cities, or Tollans, referred to in later Mesoamerican literature.
