Snezhanka (Snow White) is a cave located in the Rhodope Mountains, some 5 kilometers away from the town of Peshtera, southern Bulgaria. It was discovered in 1961. To reach it requires a half an hour uphill. Some of the most beautiful cave formations in Bulgaria can be seen inside.
9. Cave of the Hands, Argentina
Cueva de las Manos (Spanish for Cave of the Hands) is a cave or a series of caves located in the province of Santa Cruz, Argentina, 163 km south of the town of Perito Moreno. It is famous (and gets its name) for the paintings of hands. The art in the cave dates from 13000 to 9000 years ago. Several waves of people occupied the cave, and early artwork has been carbon-dated to ca. 9300 BP.
Uhlovitsa Cave (Bulgarian: Пещера Ухловица) is a show cave in the Blue Pools Area (Bulgarian: Mестността „Сините вирове“, or Mestnostta "Sinite virove") in the Smolyan Province of the Rhodope Mountains, southern Bulgaria. About 3000 tourists visit the cave every year. Uhlovitsa is about 460 m long, 330 m of which are well-explored and developed. It is 1040 m above sea level. The average temperature is about 10–11°C.
7. Mammoth Cave, United States
Mammoth Cave National Park is a U.S. National Park in central Kentucky, encompassing portions of Mammoth Cave, the longest cave system known in the world. The official name of the system is the Mammoth-Flint Ridge Cave System for the ridge under which the cave has formed. The park was established as a national park on July 1, 1941. It became a World Heritage Site on October 27, 1981, and an international Biosphere Reserve on September 26, 1990.
Ledenika (Леденика) is a cave in the Northwestern parts of the Balkan Mountains, 16km away from the Bulgarian town of Vratsa, its entrance being at 830m above sea level. It features an abundance of galleries and impressive karst formations including stalactites and stalagmites, dating back a thousand years. The cave is about 300m long and contains ten separate halls. The biggest one is the Concert Hall. The way to it is through the Passage of Sinners. Only those whose heart is pure can pass through it.
The Magura Cave (Bulgarian: Магурата) (from Arumanian magura = hill) is located in north-western Bulgaria close to the village of Rabisha, at 18 km from the town of Belogradchik in the Vidin Province. The total length of the Magura cave is 2,5 km. The largest inland lake in the country, the Rabisha Lake, is situated in the vicinity of the cave and the whole region has been declared a natural landmark.
Devetashka cave is one of the largest caves in Bulgaria. It was discovered in 1921 and the total length is 2442 meters, the total area is 20400 m2, height - 60 meters. It is located near the village of Devetaki and on the river Osam. The cave is home to thousands of bats. There are two branches, one in the flow stream and the other is dry and warm. Arches at the entrance are impressive.
3. Devil Throat Cave, Bulgaria
Devil's Throat cave was formed of the collapse of earth layers. The cave is located near Trigrad in the Trigrad Gorge. The great hall is the highest underground waterfall on the Balkan Peninsula. The name of the cave comes from the shape of the previous entry, devil-like head. The cave was formed by a river falling into the ground from 42 m, forming a huge hall called Rumbling Hall. Its length is 110 m, width - 40 m, and height - 35 m. This is the largest room in the Bulgarian caves after the entry hall Devetashka cave.
The Bacho Kiro cave is situated 5 kilometers west of the town Dryanovo, Bulgaria, only 300 meters away from the Dryanovo Monastery. It is embedded in the exquisit canyons of the Andaka and Dryanovo River. The first tourists entered the cave in 1938, two years before it was actually called the Bacho Kiro cave after the Bulgarian National Revival enlightener Bacho Kiro.

The Perito Moreno Glacier is a glacier located in the Los Glaciares National Park in south west Santa Cruz province, Argentina. It is one of the most important tourist attractions in the Argentine Patagonia. The Glacier cave is located on the northern end of the glacier. A glacier cave is a cave formed within the ice of a glacier. They are often called ice caves, but this term is properly used to describe bedrock caves that contain year-round ice.
